          It is no secret that home buyers usually come prepared with an abundance of questions about the buying process. A real estate agent’s ability to correctly answer a buyers questions can often be the difference between landing that potential prospective buyer or losing that buyer to another agent. In addition to helping you secure a new client; correctly answering a buyers questions can help demonstrate your knowledge of the industry and can aid in establishing your professional value moving forward with that client. This can help lead to great reviews, additional purchases, and even referrals! Familiarizing yourself with a list of the most commonly asked buyer questions and preparing yourself with adequate and informative answers can help give you an edge when meeting with new buyers. Knowing how to properly answer these questions can also help provide you with valuable content for any marketing materials, social media posts, blog articles, and website content you may need.

          So what are the most common questions that home buyers are asking their real estate professionals? Realtor.com recently conducted a broad survey and asked numerous Realtors® which questions they most commonly receive. Below is a list of the eight most common questions (according to Realtor.com)that home buyers want answered when preparing to purchase a home.

 

1. Am I able to purchase a home and sell my current home simultaneously?

2. What type of home can I realistically afford?

3. How many homes should I view before deciding to make an offer on one?

4. How do I know if the property is a good deal or not?

5. What do you think the seller will agree to and accept as a fair price?

6. Should I get a home inspection?

7. How quickly do you think I can close?

8. If I change my mind about the property, when can I still back out of the deal?
